Dear Freedom Arts Academy Family,

We want to share some important news with you all. We ask you receive this with love and understanding,

After much contemplation, we have made the heartfelt decision to conclude this chapter of our lives by closing Freedom Arts Academy at the end of July 2025.

This has been one of the most difficult decisions we’ve ever had to make and was not made lightly, but we believe it is time to embrace new opportunities and focus on our growing family and future goals.

Over the past eight years, Shakes and I (Krissy) have been dedicated to creating a vibrant and supportive space for the dance community across New Zealand and Australia.

We are incredibly proud of the welcoming environment we have built together, and we are deeply grateful for each student, parent, and community member who has been part of our journey.

As we prepare for this transition, we invite all current and former students to join us in making these final four months memorable.

Our only hope is to finish off well with those who have journeyed with us this far.

Thank you for being part of the Freedom Arts Academy legacy.

We believe that while this is a bittersweet moment, it also marks the beginning of wonderful new possibilities for everyone involved.
